Young Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey lights it up at annual Rumph Classic
Young Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey is a rising star in the NBA. The 21-year-old guard out of Kentucky has taken the necessary steps to continue to grow as a player
In just his second season, Maxey averaged 17.5 points and he shot 42.7% from deep.
That 3-point percentage was a ridiculous 48% after the All-Star break as he flourished in his new role of being the team’s starting shooting guard next to James Harden.
He has constantly been in the gym all offseason before the 2022-23 season in order to try and help the Sixers take that next step in the Eastern Conference
Maxey, as well as Isaiah Joe, made an appearance at the 17th annual Rumph Classic as he hopped on with Team EOF in the Rumph Classic championship game.
The game was played at LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
